Maintenance and inspection of transformer stations
Over the years, dirt and moisture get into the interior of a transformer station. This can cause conductive layers and electrical flashovers to form, which can lead to failures of your installation with considerable consequential damage.
To ensure the functionality of the transformer station and the safety of your employees, all parts of your installation must be checked and inspected at regular intervals.
All electrical installations, both below and above 1 kV, must be inspected by a competent electrician at least every four years according to the regulations of the DIN-VDE repetition tests (DIN-VDE 0105) and the DGUV regulation 3.
A very important point is also the subject of insurance cover. In order to ensure this through the fire insurance, the policyholder is obliged to observe all legal, official and other regulations and thus to have his electrical installations inspected by a specialist company at regular intervals.
If the policyholder does not comply with his obligations, he may lose his insurance cover or even be terminated by the insurance company.
