Energy efficiency

Energy efficiency is the measure of the energy required to achieve a specified benefit. The lower the energy losses for achieving the respective benefit, the higher the energy efficiency.

It is well known that the demand for energy is increasing worldwide. In addition, energy prices are rising. Increasing energy efficiency has a dampening effect on energy prices, counteracts energy distribution conflicts and reduces emissions of climate-damaging carbon dioxide.

According to the Federal Environment Agency of the Federal Republic of Germany, electrical energy consumption represents the second largest energy consumption in industry with a share of 30.8%.

It is therefore definitely worthwhile to check how far electrical energy consumption can be reduced. With a reduction of the electrical energy consumption you achieve clear financial advantages and additionally you do something good for the environment.

Often companies only deal with the topic of energy efficiency if they employ more than 250 people or have a turnover of more than 50 million.

Companies of this size are required to conduct an energy audit in accordance with the DIN EN 16247-1 standard. Regardless of whether or not a company is required to undergo an energy audit, it is worth looking into energy efficiency.

Another topic that is indirectly related to energy efficiency is the topic of load peaks. The occurrence of load peaks is taken into account in the electricity bill of certain companies in the form of a power price. Based on the maximum annual output (highest quarter-hourly average output), the output price is determined.

For this reason, it is financially extremely sensible to reduce the maximum annual output to a minimum.

Hubert Göbel GmbH contributes with specialized know-how as a service provider in electrical energy supply to an improved energy efficiency and thus to cost savings by reducing peak loads.

We rely on our know-how in the field of measurement technology, data evaluation as well as in the field of network calculation, in order to work out suitable solutions, with which

  • reduce the electrical energy consumption of your company.
  • the peak load situation can be evaluated (root cause analysis).
  • suitable remedial measures can be found to reduce peak loads.

Your advantages :

  • Detailed measurement of energy consumption and evaluation of the measurement data from a single source

  • Evaluation of electrical energy consumption AND technical evaluation of the quality of your power supply (power quality)

  • Finding the causes of peak loads in your company

  • Receipt of a range of possible remedies that can lead to load peak reduction
